Turbo Tax makes it so easy!

The "free" version quickly became $160 to file after being forced to upgrade due to rolling a 401k into another 401k and the filing fee

Poor explanations for complex situations.

Tax return told me that I have a carryover without giving me any option to remove it or showing me where it came from. Had to guess at the answers. Really lessens my confidence in the product. I also hate that turbotax lobbies to continue privatization of tax filing.

Turbo tax is disappointing and greedy

Forced to pay for turbo tax before taxes are actually filed. Then instructed to pay the taxes after paying for the filing. You’ve changed the order in the way turbo tax processes the payments. Two payments asked for while not explaining there’s more monies needed to file. Your older software put it in a total of taxes owed and cost of turbo tax.
