very frustrating process for paying the premium price should be able to print and file by mail state forms ridiculous in charging an additional $59 to file.... what a scam for the elderly or anyone!

Good for people with few items to enter

I had a difficult time entering my IRA contributions. The limited options made it more difficult than it had to be. Overall I am glad the other forms were entered by connecting to my online account or snapping a picture but at least two forms were more difficult to enter than it should have been.

There were complicating factors this year, since I apparently never actually e-filed my 2023 return through Turbo Tax, and didn't realize it until this filing season. Therefore, My 2024 return kept being rejected because IRS had no record of 2023 AGI, even though I had all the printed documents from Turbo Tax stating it.
Because I did pay what I owed to IRS for 2023 and also sent quarterly prepayments for 2024, I was never notified by IRS about non compliance, even though that shows up in my IRS account info. Turbo Tax didn't notify me, either or ask why my return was not transmitted in 2023.

Turbo Tax is expensive in the AI era

Forcing the purchase of a package and then never using those resources is a little frustrating.
After completing, it appeared that my 401 contirbutions were not subtracted from the total taxable income.
May still have to submit an ammendment after 3 hours of this site telling me how awsome we are doing with how much I still owe.
