I'm going to find a different way next year

It was exceedingly more difficult to use than last year, and I remember last year was more difficult than the previous year. The total cost to me was $200 or so, because TurboTax deluxe wouldn't allow me to enter 1099B, for a baby capitol gains. Not even worth reporting! I truly need to learn a different way to file taxes. even if i have to go to the library, and fill in the boxes with a pen, and mail it in.

Tricky Forms & Surprise Fees

I’ve used TurboTax before, but this year was by far the most frustrating experience. First, they try to force you into signing forms that you don’t necessarily want to sign, and once you land on that page, it’s nearly impossible to exit or bypass it. It feels like they’re trapping you into agreeing to something you don’t fully understand or need.
Then there’s the pricing scam. They advertise the Deluxe edition, which seems like it should cover everything, but when you’re finally ready to file, they suddenly say you need to upgrade to Premium—at the last minute! By that point, you’ve already put in all the effort to enter your tax info, so you’re basically stuck and forced to pay extra just to finish.
This kind of bait-and-switch pricing and the forced form-signing tactics are incredibly shady. I am not sure that I will use Turbo Tax next year

HAVE USED IT FOR YEARS BUT THIS YEAR'S VERSION WAS MORE DIFFICULT TO USE AND HARDER TO UNDERSTAND THE CALCULATIONS. LESS USER FRIENDLY OVERALL. HAVE TO CONSIDER IF I WILL DO THIS AGAIN NEXT YEAR.
