Best Tax Prep for the Non-CPA Type Person!

I have used Turbo Tax for years and find it relatively easy to use for someone with little to no background in tax preparations. I have multiple states, federal and a small business so it is a little tricky but with practice, I have improved.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Fraudulant Charge

I was told first time filing was free. I had to pay $188 and there was not any option to change or opt out. I WILL be reporting TurboTax to the FTC for fraud

Difficulty with taxable RMD.
Difficulty with both taxable amount and QCD.
I was surprised to figure out the hard way (had to track down data I thought I did not need) that while I was Standard Deduction federal filer, NYS itemized deductions reduced NYS tax.
