Changes in turbo tax makes it less user friendly.

Turbo tax use to show amounts of projected refund/amount owed as info was entered. This was beneficial to see how different items entered affected taxes. Prior to paying and filing, turbo tax use to show a summary of income, credits and everything compared to the previous year, so I know my taxes are complete and correct. I can prepare my own taxes but use turbo tax for convenience. With the cost and lack of information before filing so I can make sure everything is correct, I may choose another method next year.

Why Did I Wait So Many Years to Use TurboTax?!

Have used a CPA for several decades and decided to do it myself. TurboTax could not have been any easier and saved money on my CPA's fees.

1099-R Issue Fixed

For the first time I had a problem with an insurance company 1099-R. Same 1099-R for many years without a problem. Called TT and Ruben was very helpful and we got it fixed. Wasn't my problem! Looked like a TT issue.

Was not asked for 1095-A information don’t was rejected by the IRS, had to dig back to find the information and refile was a waste of of my time

TurboTax is seriously the best. I used to hate taxes with a vengeance, I hated the concepts, the process, the complexity, the jargon, it's painful, but TurboTax has always made me feel comfortable and confident.
