Basics are good but …

Basic stuff worked well. I liked the It’s Deductible function for contributing to charities.
But working on 1099 and stocks capital gains and losses VERY cumbersome.

Terrible revamp of application. Difficult to use

I've been using TurboTax for several years, and in the past my taxes have been far more complicated, yet TurboTax was always easy for me to glide right through and get my taxes done. This year TurboTax looked nothing like previous versions and didn't guide me through in the same way that it used to.I struggled for over 4 1/2 hours to figure out what you were asking from me. My deductions as a two family homeowner were not counted and were very difficult to enter. I I struggled for over 4 1/2 hours to figure out what you were asking from me. I almost chose the free version that the IRS offers and now I'm sorry that I paid the money to go through this hassle with TurboTax. Next year I'll do the free version from the IRS

Good but difficult for K-1's

this is year 14 of using Turbo Tax. It is good for most things but really is difficult when it comes to entering data for K-1 as it asks for data that is not there and for situations that do not apply. Also the ability to look at the actual IRS form has been removed, making it more than ever a "trust me" situation with Turbo Tax.
