its a helpful and useful tool to doing your taxes. Would be prefect if they didn't try and up sell several times in the process.

You ask more questions than my cpa did.

You asked some questions near impossible to answer, like: What were your Roth contributions prior to 2024? What, you mean ALL of them? I paid in 26 times per year for years. How would I even find that information? I can't use my balance, because that includes earnings. You ask me to know things I cannot know. Too expensive at $200 and 3 hours to prepare.

Great UI, could be more affordable

Generally, a great user interface that breaks the complex codes and fields down into easier to understand bits of input. Wish there were more financial institutions available for direct import of various tax documents. The instructions get a little murky when it comes to ESOPs and 1099-Rs. Would also be cool if they incorporated some AI to make suggestions for how you can avoid paying high taxes for the next year. Only saves me about $150 over my old human accountant--the prices could be better and should include state taxes; that's a dumb item to make us add at the end.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years now. Turbo Tax makes the filing process as easy as possible while maximizing your refund. I have never been audited once. I love that I can file my taxes while sitting on my couch in less than an hour. The website has very convenient links which are conveniently located next to likely situations/entries where a user would have a question. I highly recommend Turbo Tax to anyone who wants to file their taxes quickly, accurately, and comfortably.
