Tricking into more expensive version

They are scamming on premium version by hiding other options really well. similarly they almost force youto share data with all products by not adding a skip button. You have to navigate to the next step on left hand side menu, making it look non optional to share data.

Glitchy

Form 7203 needs work. Section 3 is glitchy and I've read that this has happened for a couple years. You have to not enter information for it to work. I also spent way too many hours working on it because of that. There was also a glitch on the formal note box that I checked, then the smart check at the end kept flagging it saying it wasn't checked. I called and was told to delete that form and start over. Super frustrating for how expensive this product is.

TurboTax likes to sneak in extra fees

Y'all are super slimy. So many sneaky hidden fees. Like I figured out just in time that y'all were about to charge $40 for me to have my refund deducted from my return. If I pay the TT fees with my credit card, I save $40. I don't think the $178 worth of "extra add-ons" of TurboTax fees (required in order to file) benefited me. It also took longer than the time it said it would. And I kept being asked the same questions on a loop, like 4x.
