TurboTax is Okay

The fees are way too high to file. They keep going up every year even though TurboTax doesn't change. The website is fairly easy and straight forward to use.

Amendment was easy

Very easy to use. Had to send an amended return for a 1099 that was received in the latter part of February and the amendment was very easy to follow. I had been using another service prior to this year and will definitely stay with Turbotax going forward.

I've used Turbo Tax for years. This year's product was considerably more difficult to use and navigate compared to previous years. The price jump was significant over last years cost.

Capital loss carryover functionality broken

My capital loss carryover from 2022 was lost because I did not need to use it in 2023 and therefore turbotax did not allow me to import it for 2024. This has cost me far more than any savings from filing with turbotax in the past. I looked online and there are MANY people with the exact same issue. It appears that turbotax has allowed this issue to persist for years and has no user interface to successfully import capital loss carryovers from any year other than the one immediately preceding it. Seems like people with investments need to use an alternative tax solution.
