TurboTax has gotten less connected to the tax return, and more just answering questions, leaving me more ignorant of how to prepare my taxes. There needs to be a sidebar where I can click on the actual IRS or State tax form in progress. Worse, the 1099 upload/information input section was difficult. Entering the financial institution information was not user-friendly: Even though two financial institutions were the same as the prior year, the program would not let me update those institutions with this year's data, and instead required me to add a new entry for them even though the program did not instruct me that was necessary, resulting in a confusing and frustrating process. Finally, the constant upselling was insulting. This may be the last year that I use TurboTax, after many years. The degradation of the user experience, combined with Intuit's bad image for deceiving people last year into paying what they did not need to pay for, makes me feel like I am at risk when using TurboTax.

Turbo tax is easy to use and navigate through. If you have question or don't understand something they have live chat. I will never use another tax system.
