Why Do We Pay For This?

Intuit is soulless. They spend millions lobbying to keep taxes complicated so you have to pay them to do what should be free. Instead of helping, they profit off confusion and trick people into upgrades they don’t need. Other countries have free, simple tax filing—TurboTax makes sure we don’t. It’s a scam wrapped in a “service.”

Mostly a good experience except I had only one Crypto transaction and it cost me $50 to answer a single question. Otherwise, very good.
