So done with turbo tax...

I've always been able to use my refund to pay for the turbo tax fee -- this year it asked me if I wanted to do this but then asked for a payment method right after. Not having any other choice, I entered my card information and it immediately charged my card BEFORE I was prompted to finish filing. Really messed up and sketchy in my opinion. I had a high enough tax return to pay for the turbo tax fees and knowing how unreliable the tax filing system works, I will probably be charged twice. Will definitely be using a local accountant next year and never using turbo tax again.

Always Overpriced

Turbotax is a very efficient software. But it is always overpriced. I don't understand why they charge customers so much. I will be using another tax preparer next year. I didn't have the energy to start over with another tax software. Find one that will be more inexpensive. Some let you file federal and state for free if your income is under $85k

Overcharges for certain situations

I did my fathers taxes for him, he had a few hundred dollars in stock sales which meant i had to pay $129 for turbotax deluxe. Ridiculous. Rethink your pricing plans!

Excellent product. Allows me to control my own faith and finances. Typically CPA cost me over $600 vs the $300 for this product.
