really easy to use

I never thought I could do my own taxes. I thought I had to use an accountant. But I have been successful for the last two years and Turbo Tax made sure I got all the credits that I was due. Really easy to use.

I always get defaulted to premium, I wonder why that is. AND MAKE IT EASIER TO CHANGE THE DIRECT DEPOSIT INFO. I had to get live help and screen share to be able to do that.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Turbo tax is good, but could provide more information on RMDs for inherited IRAs and for retirement annuities. Neither the IRS or Turbo tax has clear guidance on how to deal with these topics.

Explanations of what to enter was easy to follow. I like how it asks how I'm doing so I can take a break if I want. The estimate on how long it takes is spot on.

Easy for a first time user. The help boxes for certain situations were nice if you are not planning on paying for a professional to step in. Very straight forward process. Will be doing this again in the future from now on. You definitely get hosed on money if you go to a big name tax professional.
