Inexpensive and useful. Not as good as it once was

Most of the system works smooth. However, I had issues this year I have not had in the past. These issues included tax information from previous years not transcribing over to this year even though I have been filing with TurboTax for over 5 years. I was also very disappointed to learn that this year. TurboTax no longer offers free state tax returns for military.

beware of the live version

I had to start my taxes and clear everything multiple times because I kept being forced to purchase the live version for TRIPLE the price. it was a complete trick to make you think that was the only version available for my needs.

Military and stocks

I enjoyed using Turbo tax for Free filing because of being Active Duty Enlisted, but because I had some stocks (didn't gain above $50 as i don't have much), I had to us premium. My return is already low as I don't get majority tax credit, so I practically paying the same amount I'm getting returned...
