Terrible product!

Very frustrating. Wouldn't let me e-file! No humans to help or answer my questions. Next year, not going to use this poor product!!!

Bad experience due to import problems

Two main complaints:
1) Constantly trying to upsell me on other products, after I have already chosen. This is just an unnecessary nuisance.
2) The import from T. Rowe Price (1099-DIV, 1099-B) didn't work on two separate occasions. After the first import it said I owed $33K in taxes due to an incorrect $188K in capital gains, where it seemed to be counting things twice. So I deleted it all and imported again, only to be told I was due a $22K refund because the capital gains were completely ignored. I had to delete everything again and enter everything manually, and only then was everything correct.

#2 wasted at least an hour of my time on what should be a very simple step.

I had (for me at least) a somewhat more complex filing this year and TurboTax asked every pertinment question to help guide me step by step to complete my return. What a refief! Stay patient and have your required documents handy and you can't miss!

Since I only have royalties to claim on RITA I wasn't sure how to do it so I'll have to deal with that separately. my royalties are a pain distinguishing them from rentals
