turbo tax necessary evil

i did not like the survey in the middle of me doing my taxes, it was a waste of time and i was asked several times during my taxes, the only reason tax refund tools exist is because they lobby the government to make it to where it isnt automatic, we are one of the only places in the world that gets charged for it so the rich can play the system and navigate the rules to pay less than the average worker. bogus

Last year I filed using another software in person do to questions I could not resolve using Turbo Tax and I saw a TV add saying if you used someone else last year and returned to Turbo Tax before February 18 but I was charged anyway ?
