TurboTax is the way to go!

TurboTax is very user-friendly and I love how it walks me through each step and there are explanations with additional if I need it. I also appreciate the option to chat with a tax professional if I have questions or need additional assistance. In the past, we used a CPA to do our taxes and we were spending about $600. We don't have any special tax situation so we decided to try TurboTax a few years ago and I am so glad we did. It is straightforward, easy to use and built my confidence that I really CAN do it myself.

Great except for all the promotion stuff........the consent forms with signatures for giving Turbo Tax permission was confusing and i didn`t want to commit if unsure of what I was signing up for.

It wasn't clear what to enter in the Tpstate box. I tried to enter the name of my state but it wanted a number. Finally figured it out.
