Turbo Tax let me down

I always used H and R Block. I never had a return rejected. Both rejected using Turbo Tax. Apparently a box wasn't check. This would have been caught through H and R Blocks review, but it wasnt here somehow.

TurboTax fails again

Horrible experience. Whoever wrote this TurboTax program should be fired. Last year it wouldn't let me write-off gambling losses because it said I wasn't itemizing expenses (not a true IRS rule). Now the program is reading over a 1099B Interest income address incorrectly and it is not allowing me to e-file and there is no way to fix the error within the program. Since I already had to pay the $105 I am stuck licking a stamp to file my mail. If I would have known that before I would have just done it the old fashion way by hand to begin with. You have wasted my time. Now you are fired!!! I am done with using TurboTax.

Turbo tax review

It was very easy to transfer tax information over. The only thing that could be better the IRA contributions portion. Also, lots of fees. I understand that is how they make their money though. Been using this for the past 3 years.

TurboTax is best unless your return is very comple

Filing tax returns is never easy as it is time consuming but TurboTax makes it worthwhile without spending more money for a tax accountant. My returns are simple for the most part but TurboTax finds things that would take me many more hours to research and even then I would probably miss something. In the end I get a neat typed return and more worksheets than I need but more is better than less.
