TurboTax is a solid choice for filing taxes, especially for those who want a simple and guided process. The step-by-step instructions make it easy to follow, even if you’re not a tax expert. It also does a great job of maximizing deductions and catching potential mistakes.
The best part is how user-friendly it is. The layout is clear, and it walks you through everything with helpful tips. Plus, it saves your info from previous years, which makes filing even faster.
The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. While the free version works for basic returns, anything more complex can get expensive. Also, customer support could be improved, especially when dealing with more complicated tax situations.
Overall, TurboTax is a reliable and easy-to-use tax filing software, but the cost and support could be better.

Not my first time using TT and it was easy with some minor issues with 1099 integration. Had to type most in manually. Missing the option to plan ahead for taxes. Example. Why can't I use TT to review my taxes paid to date in December to determine if I may have to pay estimated taxes before the end of the year to avoid penalties? Would be a nice feature.
