Too much upselling

My Taxes through TurboTax cost over $100 dollars, for that amount of money I don't want to see ads or upsales on every service under the sun. Make the process painless and easier to work through rather than constant prompts to upgrade. I've been using turbotax for about 20 years and I'm not sure I can keep using it if this continues.

Questions on dependents does not apply to a single parent to claim a child whose spouse is deceased.

TurboTax is easy!

I love how easy and simplified it is. My only suggestion is putting the list back on the side bar menu that you can jump back to a section and not have to go through everything from that point on again unnecessarily. It takes up so much time.

Easy to use but getting absolutely ridiculous with the fees, Turbotax doesn't give me the choice but to do a premium filing which is $120 but I was given a discount to pay $100, I have to pay a separate fee for state of $36 after discount, after every section it recommends for you to upgrade to max for an additional $60. There is a $40 fee for paying with your return, there is a $25 fee for direct deposit 5 days sooner when all said and done paid almost $200 to file my own taxes when I always qualified for the free edition. You no longer qualify for the free edition if you have student loans or qualify for the child credits.
