After using Turbo Tax for a number of years, I thought I would try to file with a cheaper well known alternative. The alternative had a glitch in it so I got frustrated and sent that company a message about the glitch and that I was going back to Turbo Tax. And here I am. It worked. I just wish it was a little more affordable.

Your product is designed in such a way where you take as much money from people as possible with the promise of "convenience". You make it seem like a couple hundred dollars isn't that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. You need to be more upfront and clear about the money you are taking, stop constantly asking that people upgrade to file their taxes and also include tax in your final bill. I also found it ridiculous that there is a $40 processing fee when choosing to pay for your service with the return instead of linking your bank account. This detail needs to be said before you click on the option as many people are going to skip that page. You most likely are counting on people to not read too closely. you lowkey annoying
