TurboTax does the job with tons of compromises

Turbo tax might slog through your taxes, but you have to fight advertisements every step of the way. We're now getting ads that are pushing us to open new bank accounts with third parties!! And just when you think you were done with the ads and you're ready to complete the return, Turbo Tax tries to trick you into sweeping up your tax return in their data collection scheme. This permission nullifies the legal protections you have when it comes to keeping your tax data private.
Make sure to talk to your government representative about the unfriendly practices that make your tax season unbearable so maybe we can get some relief from this maddening product!

Missing the running refund estimator

I generally love Turbo Tax and have used it for years but was SO UNHAPPY with not having the running refund until you do a federal review. I tried to do it before I was ready to finish but it was missing too much info for it to do the running refund. PLEASE GIVE THIS FEATURE BACK!
