Easy to use, watch the fees.

TurboTax makes it very easy to file your taxes, thought, that's not saying much because I don't know any other way to file. I think the fees are a bit astounding and is the reason why I didn't give more than 3 stars. For example, they don't tell you until the confirmation scree that there is an additional $40 processing fee for paying for TurboTax out of your return. What are you processing that costs $40, and why are other online processing fees only a few bucks at most?

Could not connect with my bank and brokerage

This year TurboTax refused to connect with my brokerage and abank accounts. I linked them few times, no errors were displayed but for some reason info was not pulled into TT, and I had to do it manually. Not sure I'll use this next year

TurboTax makes the process a step-by-step procedure. It answers most questions and if you have a simple to moderate tax return and financial situation, I feel TurboTax is the way to go for the price.
