TurboTax - A Leech on Society

Far to expensive you aren't informed of the full cost until you're basically done. It also loaded a bunch of empty 1099s for no apparent reason and it was quite annoying to check each one and remove it. It also constantly pesters you to upgrade to more expensive products that provide little to no additional benefit. It feels great know that this company and industry exist only because they have the money to lobby politicians to make taxes far more complex than needed.

Overall, decent experience. The software is getting better each year with avoiding an endless loop while trying to review everything for the last time if there's errors.
Did a good job of showing kindness over the loss of my spouse during the return.
