TurboTax makes filing taxes easy and worry free!

I have been using TurboTax to complete income tax returns for my husband and myself for a few years. It is so easy to return each year, make comparisons to our previous years, make changes, and get our tax returns off on time. The hints and explanations helpful and take the worry out of doing taxes right.

Marketing overload feels like borderline scam

BUYER BEWARE. TurboTax is for sure shady. They try to get you to sign a document to forfeit your federal rights on certain data protections in order to share your data with other "products" in the Intuit family. Completely unnecessary and setup as a "Convince" so be aware of that. If TurboTax was stand alone and not in this shady Intuit family business model I would give it five stars as it has been curated pretty good. My taxes are pretty basic and easy I really shouldn't use them but I have for a while and they only got me audited once. Do not just check every box these programs throw at you. Read them and decide.
