Additional $40 fee to pay with return

$40 fee to pay the service using my return ON TOP of the $90 fee for the service itself. I understand paying the $90, but an additional $40 to just pay with my return? Ridiculous. Used TurboTax for years, this will be my last.

So Easy

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have found it to be so easy to use. It is easier than driving to a tax preparer and paying much more money. I have everything ready to go so why pay someone else to plug in numbers to their computer when I can do it myself. I choose to have the support for a little more in case I do get audited.

Turbo Tax is Awesome!

Turbo Tax is an easy way for me to file my taxes without paying high fees to a tax professional. They walk you through the entire process and most of the time, it takes me less than an hour to complete and e-file my taxes.

Great, Until This Year

Been using for years, and it's great. However, this year I hit a hiccup on a Box 14 rejection by NYS. This was due to how the W2 imported pre-tax medical. There were forum support discussions going on for weeks on TurboTax website about it with no good answers, so I wasn't able to file for almost two weeks. It wasn't solved until someone was able to fix by changing the description name. This should have been made clear / solved within TurboTax so I wouldn't have to result on forums from other TurboTax members to resolve.

Predatory service, oh for extra 40 dollars we'll let you pay with your refund, oh for extra 25 we'll get it to you faster, INTUIT AND TURBOTAX SHOULDN'T EXIST. Tax filing should be free! ACTUALLY there should be no filing, but you keep lobbying the government! LEECHES
