Turbo Tax Experience

In prior years I paid for the product I wanted, downloaded it, and then prepared my return. It was all straightforward.
This year I logged into Intuit and tried to prepare my return online. The system chose the software for me. I didn't have a good idea of what I was using until well into the process.
I missed the import from previous years returns. For example, names of 1099-R payors.
I was unable to see the tax forms until I had paid. I prefer to see the tax forms as I input each section.
I will try something else next year.

TurboTax is very good

I struggled a bit because a business I had in 2023 had been closed but was carried over to 2024 in my taxes and I was unable to remove it. Overall though I believe the program is very good.

Super fast and easy

Turbo tax makes everything incredibly fast and easy. Especially when you use the program year after year and you can just import most of the return if it all matches.

Very easy to use, pretty fast too. I like their platform, however if your not careful Turbo Tax will Nickle and dime you with all these upgrades and select charges for this and that VERY ANNOYING!!!!
Pros: My employment status changed this year

It was a lot easier this year to file. I got done in less than a day. it usually takes me several days. I did have one issue. I couldn't get crypto.com QR code to work and I couldn't get the download to work either. I had to end up manually typing the info. in on my taxes.
