TurboTax is not good for state returns

Filing my federal taxes was easy, however, filing my state income taxes is proving challenging. It rejects them and then allows me to fix them. The site does not help with the fix besides providing a general note of what the problem could be. Even after I fixed the suggested problem it is still getting rejected.
