TurboTax is user-friendly but frequently interrupts with pop-ups urging costly upgrades, which can be annoying and detract from the overall experience.

Turbo Tax Issue

We've been using Turbo Tax for years and never had any issues until today. For some unknown reason, the program kept doubling various income amounts. We spent about an hour correcting that section. Once we were able to correct the income section, everything else worked very well.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Overall good, but some disappointing things.

I did it all myself. We have used turbo tax many years. I thought it would look at last year's return. It didn't. Diappointing. I had to input quite a few things by hand. Also, disappointing. But it did find some of the important financial companies which were the difficult ones. Good. I tried to print a copy of my receipt and it all disappeared and I had to sign in again. Another thing that made me uncomfortable. It kept asking me for input like a survey a number of times while I was working. That was annoying. Had to pay more than the first estimate. Disappointing.
