I found the new turbo tax less user friendly than in previous years. It was harder to navigate and to find forms that i used to "jump to". Just not as intuitive.
Using the online TurboTax is abhorrent. It is not user friendly. You need to support Windows Users who cannot upgrade to MicroSoft Windows 11 with better product.
Turbo Tax is mostly clear and straightforward except the foreign tax credit portions.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

The constant upselling is infuriating. and it always ends up being more expensive than initially advertised. Also, stop lobbying the government against being able to file for free. Its absurd that filing taxes, a requirement for everyone, is fee-for-service
For the most part it was straight forward. The new format was an adjustment and I found some check and corrections a little confusing.

Difficulty in getting page to advance to add additional information to investment and itemized deduction page. The pull down slide on the right side of the page was often not visible. This made having to exit and enter the program repeatedly. Very time consuming. Please fix this.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

We’re glad you chose us, but sorry to hear the process wasn’t as seamless as it should have been. Your insights are being shared with our team so we can fix these friction points for the future.
This was my first time using TurboTax in many years (H&R Block was free and/or affordable to veterans for a time). I did find entering and importing data to be very easy and explanations and information about filing requirements very helpful. The only reason I did not rate this product as a 5 is because it would not allow me to finalize and e-file my Arizona state taxes as a result of a requirement to include the payor name for out-of-sate municipal bond interest. As a result of the inability to include this information though TurboTax I was unable to e-file and required to print and mail my return and by check. Seems like it would be an easy fix for TurboTax to include an option to include the information.
