In the explanation for the 1095-A calculation you gave the same answer that the insurance salesman and the IRS gave to what does Household income mean. It is benign; do you mean Taxable income or income before deductions. I assumed when I bought the plan in 2024 that I based the income on the tax form they required, which was 2023, and assumed it was taxable income that I based it on. It wasn't until I had the form rejected by the IRS for 2024 through TurboTax that I realized that mistake cost me $4200.00 to the IRS. I realize you are not responsible for this error, but you are responsible to explain to your clients what 2025 taxes will be based on, and it is not in your explanation, nor is a proper calculation.
Also when I went back to review this form, I had to search for it, because it is not truly a deduction, so to be able to search just the form would have been helpful. Also I wanted to see the questioning on this part from the beginning, not just a correction to the form itself. I do not know what questions led me to the form.
I have used Turbo Tax for several years now. I found that this year's software is more confusing than helpful. It has taken me more time to figure out how to file my taxes. Please simplify the software again!
I'm not a rocket surgeon had some trouble filing whit H&R Block so I stopped and started with TurboTax and things went very smoothly, at one point again my lack of knowledge and ability to just read what's in front of me I had you service desk call me and 2 seconds later DUN!!!
