Turbo Tax Premium makes filing our taxes so easy. Every instance where I wasn't sure how to answer, Turbo Tax provided additional information to help me make sense of the requirements.

Helpful but still had to pay

Helpful tips along the way but I did not like that I was forced to pay to file. I filed the same way last year and was not charged, so it's weird and off-putting that I was charged this year.

Help files aren't much help

I spent way too much time on what should have been a 2-hour project. After I permitted TurboTax to access 1099 forms from my brokerage, the 1099-B form kept demanding that I review it. I couldn't progress past that "needs review" message so I went through each of 110 transaction lines individually and compared with my pdf version. Everything was perfect, but the "needs review" remained. At that point, rather than re-import or enter that data manually as the help system suggested, I decided to wait until the next day. Magically, the issue resolved itself overnight. It would have been nice if the help system had suggested that - I spent more than 3 hours on something that should have taken less than 30 minutes.
