TurboTax is Easy

I've used TurboTax since 2016, the first time I started filing after the death of my husband. TurboTax and Intuit have made filing stress free and, actually, a bit of fun. I trust that I am getting the most up to date advice, I am able to upload all my data and can file as soon as I am finished. Getting refunds (or occasionally having to pay extra) have been easily accomplished and timely.

Quick and easy process, always someone there to help assist, the optional added protections are great as well. always smooth sailing when i process with TurboTax!

I was in the midst of entering charitable contributions of items via the tool, and turbotax closed and made me start it over. This happened twice. Also, had a problem with one of the income forms which didn't like that I left a field blank. I tried entering a zero and that worked. Some of the info in the help section was too simplistic, like advising to google something. Not that helpful. If you're tech-savvy enough to use turbotax, you already thought of that. Other than that, it's a decent tool and I like that it carries info forward from last year, which is helpful. If it didn't do that, I'd explore other options, though.
