Turbo Tax Wins Another Round, Dark Pattern Edition

Well, it's typical Turbo Tax. It's pretty easy to use and makes sure you have all your bases covered for all situations, and the more complicated your situation is the more you'll pay. However, this year, the amount of dark patterns throughout the app with regard to data permissions was truly mind blowing. The final section where it looks like you have to agree to share data to file, yet you do not, and there is no clear way to go to the file step, is truly disgusting and atrocious. Anyway, I hope we can regulate these types of companies out of existence someday. Maybe we can get DOGE on it.

I always go for turbo tax because it is easy to use. and does a good job explaining at what documents you might need
