TurboTax is a scam

Turbo Tax and similar services are scams. It shouldn't cost me money to file my taxes. They have the audacity to tell me I saved $60 on their products; no, I spent $130.

Difficult taxes made easier

I've used HR Block for years, and their website gets increasingly difficult to use. I have tried Turbo Tax before, but was always dissatisfied with having the site help me with difficult questions. This time was different. Thank you for the improvements you've made.

I've been using Turbotax for at least 10 years. Never had a problem with them until this year. The website let me complete my tax return, but at the end when I was about ready to pay, I was informed that I had to upgrade to Premium because I sold some stock. Otherwise, it would not let me continue. So, I spent 30 minutes doing my tax return only to find I had to pay the Premium, which was $50 more.
Way to go Turbotax. Trying to fleece your customers will not keep them loyal to your software.

Had problems and Brian was a big help in getting me through. Give him a raise
Had problems identifying where the problem resided. Take a look at your trouble shooting and directions as to where to go to fix the problem. Not very clear. Also I have used TurboTax for several years and your system said it could not find me. Kind of frustrating to go thru all the questions with Brian to get to a place where the system worked. Glad he has patience and was helpful.
