TurboTax Is Convenient

Turbo Tax is fair enough and makes it easy to file taxes. However, Turbo Tax continues to try to make me file two state tax returns to Maryland and Virginia when you do not have to. You can live in one state and work in the other and only pay income taxes to the state that you live in. I also did not originally see the option to have my tax return sent directly to my bank account until after I signed up for a Credit Karma Spend Account.

It has worked well until these past two years. It hasn’t allowed me to e-file my state taxes because it says that there is an atypical situation on my state tax even though my tax situation has not changed in the past 4 years. It doesn’t clarify what the atypical situation is however. Very frustrating to have to print and mail my return in.
