As painless as filing your taxes CAN be

Tax season is never fun, but Turbotax makes it as (relatively) painless as possible. They're thorough, and they go over all the different exemptions and deductions that you can claim. Other tax prep software that I've tried is not as thorough, and would leave out boxes that were indicated on my tax forms, not the case with Turbotax.

Very easy to use

It is very easy to prepare and file these. The ability to import forms makes it very convenient. The help files are almost always very helpful, and I didn't need to get any other advice.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Many of the supplemental questions are not clearly stated especially for the Dividend and 1099-B forms.
Turbotax frequently asked a question requiring additional information or to read additional information during which time the program closed. additional time is needed to complete tasks.
