Please don't charge me twice

The software was thorough and accurate. It went through more steps than I would have liked. Also, it kept suggesting upgrades. I started with the free app version for filers who did not file with Turbo Tax last year. I had trouble and could not complete it through the app. I bought Deluxe software on another website. I completed that software online. During the process I was asked if I wanted Premium for no additional cost. I said yes. At the end I was charged for Premium and for State. I backed out of the payment page and called Turbo Tax for help. It was taking a long time to find out why it was charging me. I went on the app while the representative was helping me. It managed to save all of my info and I was able to file with the app for free minus the $44 that I paid another company for the product. Also, the only way that I could get my forms in was to manually enter them all myself with the exception of tow forms.

It works, but its getting sneaky expensive

It gets a little worse every year. The price goes up and up and the quality and confusing bits increase year over year. Also, pretty sure this is new this year but now there is an extra $40 feel just to pay turbo tax out of your federal return. Eww.
But it gets the job done I suppose. I might have to try a different service next year though if this keeps up.
