Turbotax is extremely comprehensive even for people that prefer/choose to file their taxes completely on their own. There are tips and resources on every single prompt to assist the tax filer along the way. Extremely well refined product, and highly recommend.

TurboTax has gotten even better. I have doing my taxes for years using TurboTax and it helps me to understand a lot of tax ramifications of my finances. What used to be very stressful and time consuming process has gotten even easier and more efficient. I highly recommend TurboTax to everybody.

it gets the job done. It's not overwhelmingly good or bad. It helps if you know what you're doing. They used to be free for military this year i got charged so i'll be finding another route next year. Also I can't for the life of me figure out why it can't get my state taxes correct so i'm sure the e file will get rejected and i'll be working through the state on my own to finish and correct that part up.
