always easy. Takes a little time to get through everything, but I feel like I am getting the most bang for my buck.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

We love hearing that the process felt effortless for you. Taxes are complicated enough, so we’ve designed our interface to take the guesswork out of every step.
Overall turbotax is always an easy experience. The problem with turbotax is the price. I could understand the price if I was sitting with a tax preparer or CPA, but it shouldn't be nearly $200 to file one's own taxes.
OCR Reading could have been better.Turbotax was not able to pull previous year tax return which I filed through turbotax desktop. It didnt work even after I uploaded .tax file. W2 syncing from ultipro pay website was not working. integrations with famous providers like coinbase or metamask wasnt working.
AVOID TurboTax online filing - use desktop version

Worst experience I've ever had filing my taxes using the TurboTax website. I was asked to confirm the same item over 10 times and the system would still not let me enter the information as shown on my tax document. I am paying over DOUBLE THE PRICE to file online vs the desktop download, which is completely asinine and outrageous. This is the least confident I have ever felt filing my taxes in the last 5+ years! 0/5 would NEVER recommend turbotax online to anyone ever again
When it came time to actually file the web site said that I had tried to file with TurboTax last year but didn't and asked how I filed. I did file with the TurboTax downloadable software and my e-files were accepted. This year I bought the software but then it pushed me to use the web site so I did, and then this happened and I had to go through a whole process of entering my AGI. Since the web site is so broken I am unlikely to use it next year and will go back to the software version.
Everything was great until it was time to pay for filing. There are fees for everything and selection information of what is optional and how it effects your processing time is not clear. The e-filing which is processed 5 days earlier, did not appear to be a requirement. That information is not clear when going through the completion process.
