I switched to TurboTax 5 years ago after doing taxes by myself or with the help of the tax preparer. Never regretted it since! Clear flow, instructions, easy to contact and ask questions. Absolutely worth your time!

Turbo Tax makes it so easy. The reason TurboTax gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because:
1. The continuous selling is frustrating.
2. After all the agreements and upgrades, I am still charged $40 to process my return...no, that's why I'm paying TurboTax.
3. The refund amount was at ~$5800 for the last several steps of the federal tax return...and then I hit complete and the refund amount dropped $400! No explanation. If the calculator at the top isn't accurate, then why is it there???
