Some things are very confusing and not direct. If there is an error on a return you kill yourself trying to figure out where the error occurred. It should link you back to the error and it does NOT. This is absurd.
I have two New York Life IRAs. One with 3000.00 Fed deduction and one with 1500.00 Fed deduction. You kept telling that they were duplicates. How come this happen? I file this way all the time with no problem every year.
I've been using TurboTax for many, many years to file my Federal and State returns. I started out with the desktop versions and switched over to the online version a few years ago. While any "black box" program can have inaccurancies and, since you didn't slog through all the IRS forms, schedules, and worksheets by yourself (like in the old days), you don't have the benefit of knowing for sure where the exact amounts inputted into the 1040 came from, this program has nonetheless consistently worked very well for me. Knock on wood; so far, I have not been audited. And I have a high level of confidence in this product's performance.
