Makes Tax Time Easy

So easy to use, its worth the money. Been using it every for almost a decade with no problems and a good return every year have never been audited.

somehow manages to not keep any of my basic data from year to year. Doesnt have a link to Fidelity which requires manual work.

Needs improvement

Instructions prior to starting would be helpful for moving from a dvd product to online -- especially for updating from the previous year. I'd already entered info by hand. Info said you can download, but lose all your work. I did not re-enter all of my info.
I don't like not having access to the worksheets and schedules easily during data input. And you cannot simply change a field on a form during the review process. A simple missed state id on a 1099b kept me from completing the review. I had to delete 1099s several times, leave parts of the form blank before the forms were auto corrected with the right state. I had several 1099 forms, but couldn't identity which form needed adjustment. Stating Schwab 1099b, doesn't identity anything when you have 5 Schwab 1099b forms to work with.

As daunting as doing income taxes are, at least Turbo Tax makes it as easy as possible with auto downloads of important tax documents.
