Experience was good. It was easy enough to enter information.

We love hearing that the process felt effortless for you. Taxes are complicated enough, so we’ve designed our interface to take the guesswork out of every step.
It seemed like there were a lot of repetitive questions.

First time I'm doing my taxes online. I loved it. Thanks!

Thanks for the review! We’re committed to evolving based on what our customers actually want. We can’t wait to show you the improvements we’re making for your next year's filing experience.
Online evolution was much smoother than anticipated. Although necessary, I guess, some portions seemed to be revisited too many times.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Thoroughly disgusted with TurboTax for: 1) forcing me to use their online program, 2) forcing me to upgrade from Deluxe to Premium to enter simple K-1 info, and 3) choosing to make their desktop software incompatible with windows 10. I've used TurboTax for many, many years. Probably wont ever use it again. So disappointed!
An improvement from before is that it is now less tricky as far as getting you to upgrade your purchase without you really knowing it and not knowing how to back out of it. Two improvements that it still needs are: 1. It never prompted me to add any of my estimated tax payments, and I had to look it up to find out where to go add them. I assumed they had already been added in. 2. The state return never asked if I wanted to apply this year's refund to next year. Could never find how to do that. The federal didn't either but I looked it up online and eventually found how to adjust it.
