Needs refinement

Useful but not outstanding. Returns took twice as long as estimated because it kept looping back to questions I already answered. Also there's a known bug regarding the inability to edit 1099s. I ended up entering a lot of info by hand. I actually bailed halfway through & checked out the free IRS software but turns out its programming is still incomplete for some sources of income so back I went, reluctantly, to TT.

We have reached the autumn of our lives, and everything is simpler. No more complicated business, employment, insurance, etc to figure out. Love that I can sit down in one evening and do our taxes, pay for the process and any amount I owe and be done. Takes things off my plate!

Excellent easy and lots of helpful tools. Anytime I had a question, I simply went to the search tool and typed in what I needed and instructions popped up. Very easy to revise my documents and file my return from the comfort of my own home.
