Could not add necessary forms/"help" not helpful

I could not add a simple 5405 form since my First-Time Home-buyer credit was transferred to my ex. (IRS rejected the e-file). The "Fix" for the rejection was not as simple as it should have been. The IRS site given by TurboTax also came up in errors.
Also, when I switched from E-File to mail in, the instruction page for mailing in the taxes to file did not appear in the file at all, much less in the 1st page as the app said. I could not get a simple answer to these questions/errors, though they should have been simple. TurboTax has been at this a long time...one would think these things would be figured out by now. I don't know yet whether I'll use it next year.
