I've been using TurboTax for many years with great success. Very easy to use. Takes the pain out of filing taxes. Reasonable price.

Solid Product, Intuitive, Worth the Price

I've been using TurboTax for a few years now. It's a little time consuming, but well worth the price. The software walks you through the process and has a great help menu. I started using them because my accountant was chaging over $400 and my taxes aren't that complicated. That said, I don't love the fact that they keep trying to upsell you to the next level of service. Ok to ask once, but note 3 or 4 times.

Turbo Tax Misleads in Online Format

I actually looked for another provider because the misleading "sales gimmicks" to upgrade, share information, or sign up for a Will - is irritating, to be kind. Clearly, there is an effort to imply that you have to buy all these other products to be able to complete your return - just based on how hard you have to look to be able to "Decline". And the requirement to "upgrade" my subscription fro $49.99 to $99.99 because we receive ONE SMALL royalty check ... come on. Unfortunately, there is not a robust offering of providers out there who don't do the same thing. Nasty business. But the final product appears to be acceptable.
