First year ever to be disappointed in Turbo Tax.

I was disappointed that my Bank was not still offering a cheaper rate. (New Washington State Bank) I could not figure out how to claim charitable deductions on my State taxes (do this every year), after I had chosen standard deduction for federal. In Indiana I should have been able to do this in 2024 for my state tax credit, to the best of my knowledge. I have always bragged to my friends about how easy and inexpensive Turbo Tax is. After this year, I may just go to the government site and do them for free. I feel like this resource has been made more complicated to encourage people to get the more expensive plan. Turbo tax even asked me questions about my 2023 return which it should have had access to. And when I tried to look up my 2023 taxes on the site, it said it could not be found. Thankfully I had printed them last year. I know that I might have had a different account through my bank, but all of my accounts should be merged together, by my social security number. I have been using turbo tax a long time, and I was very disappointed.

TurboTax is super easy and very affordable. It takes you through every step and breaks it down if you need more information on each step. It's a very easy formula to understand and helps taxes feel less overwhelming.
