No headaches with Turbo Tax!

Excellent as usual, except for one big hiccup

Turbotax is always pretty excellent, though this year for some reason it didn't remember my account. It took a bit of time to call in and find out that the ability to import the file from last year is buried in the UI within a somewhat hidden menu that is not intuitive to find for no real good reason. This should be front and center in nearly page one of the process with the option "Do you have a previous Turbotax year you would like to import?" I'm also surprised that having done so with a physical copy last year and still having to log in when I installed that physical copy didn't transmit to their servers. Having done it there should already be tracked if you're going to have me log in on a physical copy. Beyond this difficulty which lost it a star this year, Turbotax is always solid, and the partnerships with the trading platforms to seamlessly import my trades is the key reason I continue to come back, alongside the usually smooth UI experience across the board. My feedback is to make sure the import option is front and center, and if for some reason you can't keep data from physical copies, make sure on physical copies at the end the option to import into your website for the following year is there before completion. That way if a computer with the tax file dies, it doesn't hinder anyone since the file is ready for next year already in your servers.
