The auto enroll trap doors, the ways this process attempts to take personal information without EASILY viewable opt out buttons, the deception...it's gross. Even in submitting this, there is no way to opt out of having my contact information receiving a follow up. You already lobby the keep this as a forced paid service in perpetuity. Why make it a forced exchange?
Love your product, however the fees are becoming a bit exorbitant. You push unnecessary upgrades and make it confusing for many users to exit offers to avoid agreeing to said upgrades. Some of which are unlawful and therefore you were required to refund fees to thousands of people last year. If you could stop attempting to mislead users and only offered truly necessary upgrades, TurboTax would be immaculate.
I have used turbo tax for the last several years. It walks me through the process step by step. I love that it keeps information from year to year saving me time in retyping it. After putting in all my information (income and deductions) it lets me know that taking the standard deduction is best. Also, everything is transferred over to the state form saving me that headache. I highly recommend using it. It is work every penny and if you file early, you get a discount.
i think it could be alittle less money so people can keep a more amount in their pockets with the service here without the professional to help. be more on the people's side and charge a flat rate of $75, i'd rather have a consistent customer every year than a few at a higher price. it's like my airbnb i charge a little less than most yet i have consistent short term renters throughout the year instead of sitting empty hoping to make that large charge $$$ ,
